The St. Augustine Endowment was created as a charitable fund to offer a source of long-term financial stability and a pathway for growth. This endowment is essential to support St. Augustine’s mission of providing high-quality, accessible, affordable education. St. Augustine focuses on providing transformative education that serves as a bridge to a better life, primarily for low-income Hispanic learners, including first and second-generation students

Through the generous support of our donors, this endowment supports professional development, academic programs, student support services, facility needs, and strategic initiatives. Restricted and unrestricted endowed gifts are invested for long-lasting impact on the college and the students it serves.

St. Augustine College at Lewis University is expanding its services, programs, and vision, so students can have more opportunities for a better life. Our priority is not only to provide an exceptional education but to meet our students’ highest needs through financial assistance and scholarships. With your help, we will remove the barriers to a debt-free education and help those with financial needs and the determination to cross the bridge to a better future through education.

Today, 85% of our students are Hispanic, 75% are female, most are first generation college students, and 90% depend on financial aid and scholarships to help them meet their tuition. These financial realities restrict the dreams of far too many students, especially of those who must juggle family, work, and education.

Support of the St. Augustine Scholarship Fund will help us to expand our capacity and help more students to achieve a more prosperous future for them and their families.

St. Augustine College prides itself on its diverse array of programs: Associate and Bachelor Degrees, Certificates, workforce development and construction trades pre-apprenticeship programs, GED and English as a second language programs.

The curriculum is designed to inspire and challenge students, fostering their ability to create, develop, and apply knowledge in meaningful ways. We believe in empowering our students to become agents of positive change within their communities, igniting a curiosity that drives them to continuously seek out new avenues of learning and academic opportunities. Through St. Augustine programs, new leaders are created who are equipped to make a tangible difference in the world around them and impact it for the better.
